Platform Lead

We are currently looking for a Platform Lead for a client located in the north of Antwerp

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: long-term
• Regime: fulltime with 3-4 days onsite
• Languages: fluent in English, Dutch is a huge advantage

As Platform Lead, you will lead and grow the Platform organization. You ensure that our Platform Build and Platform Run teams provide a secure, scalable and automated engineering foundation that enables efficient software delivery across the company. You bring people, priorities and execution together while fostering collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities:
You will provide leadership to the Platform Build and Platform Run teams, ensuring effective execution and continuous evolution of the engineering platform. You translate strategy into a clear roadmap, set priorities and drive predictable delivery. You guide technical decision making by guiding discussions, evaluating trade‑offs and ensuring alignment, while relying on your strong technical understanding of modern engineering platforms — from CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code to Azure, automation, observability and release processes.

You are a strong people leader with solid technical understanding and experience in engineering organizations.
You bring:

• Experience leading technical teams
• Background in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps or cloud
• Solid understanding of modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, IaC, CI/CD, automation, reliability)
• Strong planning and organizational skills
