Technische context The Operations Manager is in the lead of the RUN activities of a multitude of applications.
He should be the go-to-partner for our business teams to realize an excellent service.
During project delivery he/she is the person to set-up and define the expectations with the business teams
Think SLA, SLR, availabilities, Correct Service Windows & Service Desk...
Ideally the candidate is mobile and willing to visit all our business teams to enter in dialogue to capture the real needs on the field.
These needs can be added to your own backlog or transferred to project/architecture teams for further analysis & implementation plans.
Business context Within the new IT Department of Engie Fabricom we are redefining our mission and strategy as IT partner for our diverse Business Divisions.
Our main challenge in this diverse business is to develop a roadmap for Engie Fabricom’s Digital Future.
We need to make sure that our business considers us as their trusted partner, by:
1. focusing on Operational Excellence for our commodity IT Services ( workplace, network, server landscape, ...)
2. Implementing Operational Excellence on business critical applications ( how to industrialize service management around business owned applications, ...)
3. Deliver business projects ( Digitalization projects, Replacement projects, ...)
4. Create an application roadmap & masterplan for the future.

Business areas in which the client is active are:
• Industry instrumentation: Electrical works, piping, ... in large yards
• Maintenance, Service and Project works on piping, valves, IOT, 3D printing, ...
• Roads: signage, electrical works in railway, aviation, waterways
• Buildings: design and works of electricity & piping within large building project
• Support teams: warehousing, fleet management, ...
• Solar & Wind: large project works, …
